Yoga, meditation, and pups support good cause

Puppy Yoga Day in Randpark Ridge offered locals a chance to unwind, connect, and donate blankets for dogs in need at Place a Pup.

The event invited residents to slow down, connect with themselves and others, and support a good cause, all while surrounded by rescue puppies. Attendees took part in a 60-minute yoga and meditation session, guided through wireless headsets that created a quiet and focused space.

The gentle yoga session was enhanced by the playful presence of pups from Place a Pup, who happily cuddled up to participants as they moved through their stretches and breathing exercises.

Each R80 ticket secured a spot at the intimate wellness event, with attendees also asked to bring a pre-loved blanket donation for the rescue dogs. Dozens of usable blankets were collected, which will now bring warmth to animals in need this winter.

Puppy Yoga Day proved to be more than just a fitness session; it was a joyful gathering filled with stillness, support, and shared kindness.
