A planned power outage will affect parts of Olivedale on July 30. Customers are advised to prepare for the interruption.

Residents and businesses in Olivedale are being advised of a scheduled power interruption on July 30. The outage will affect the Olivedale substation, specifically the Windsor distributor and the President Fouché distributor.

The power supply will be temporarily interrupted from 09:00 until 17:00 to facilitate essential maintenance work. This planned outage is part of City Power’s routine maintenance to ensure the continued reliability and safety of the electricity network.

Customers are urged to plan accordingly, ensuring any sensitive equipment is properly managed during this period. It is recommended to charge devices in advance and make alternative arrangements if necessary.

City Power apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents and businesses for their understanding and co-operation. Further updates will be shared if there are any changes to the schedule.
