Old Parks Sports Club celebrates moms with bowls day
Mothers were treated to bowls, prizes, and quality time with their children during a feel-good family event hosted by Old Parks Sports Club.
Old Parks Sports Club hosted a heart-warming event to honour moms in the community, treating them to a day filled with fun, appreciation, and a little bit of pampering. The club’s bowls section welcomed mothers and their families for a relaxed introduction to the game, encouraging them to play alongside their children.

Mazlyn Johnson, administrative assistant manager at the club, expressed her gratitude for those who took part. “We just wanted to spoil the mums and show them the same love and support they give their children every single day.”
The event was a blend of family bonding and light-hearted fun, with special surprises for the mothers. Deluxe Spa Hyde Park sponsored generous hampers, while Africa Paddle contributed a Playtomic voucher to be enjoyed later in the day.

Johnson thanked the bowls section for organising the event, and praised the sponsors for their valuable support. “It was really about giving moms a chance to relax and have a good time.”
