Principal Kevin Kinghorn said that being awarded for top achievements demonstrates the high standards of their academics. “So, if they [Department of Education] present something to us, we are very glad because we know we’re doing well. So that’s why it’s nice for them to come and show us how we’re performing.”

In his fourth year as the school leader, he said he was happy to be part of the 120-year milestone. “There’s lots of history in the school, and the kids enjoy it. So many parents were students; they come back, they see the difference and are just proud of the school.”
