Wicked runners
MALANSHOF - Randburg Harriers Running club host their monthly time trial, Halloween style.
The Randburg Harriers Running club themed their monthly trial with all things spooky and sweet on 30 October.
The runners from the club decided to theme their time trial for the month and came dressed up in costume from witches to wizards to ghosts.
Val Bremtano, vice chairman of the club, walked around the venue with a basket full of delicious candy to hand out to the runners and visitors alike.
Families and friends were encouraged to run together in an incredibly fun and competitive way to have a healthy hobby.
The club welcomes all runners – whether you are a serious athlete or a beginner.
They have 5km and 8km distances, with a timer at the start and end of the course.
Each Thursday they start with their courses at 5.45pm and Saturday from 7am to 8am, starting at The Randburg Sports Complex’s main field.
