Riders shine at Gauteng west qualifiers

SUNDOWNER – Local learners prove the cream of the crop at Sanesa qualifiers.

Curro Aurora learners achieved excellent results at a recent equestrian show.

The primary and high school teams rode at the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) qualifier 2 for Gauteng west.

“We would like to also welcome Alyssa Geyser for joining the primary school team and a big well done to Lexi Edwards who rode this qualifier after just having moved onto a new school pony,” said the school’s marketing coordinator, Mageshree Tandree.

  • Eliminated in showjumping PR0.80m accumulator

Grade 6 learner Alyssa Geyser riding Adoreyoutoo

  • Fourth in equitation level 0 – 0.40m
  • Eliminated in showjumping PR0.40m competition
  • Cleared showjumping PR0.40m accumulator

Grade 5 learner Caitlin Cunningham riding Skye Blu

  • Sixth in prix caprilli level 1 Test A
  • Fifth in prix caprilli level 1 Test B
