Run the North – Northgate Road Race held their 10km and 5km fun run in collaboration with the Roodepoort Athletics Club on October 16.

This was made possible through a partnership with Northgate Shopping Centre, and its tenants such as Toyota Halfway Honeydew and Value Co. After a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 lockdown, more than 1 000 locals were excited to take part in this year’s race.

The race started and finished at Northgate Shopping Centre’s parking at Entrance 4. Each participant will receive a medal upon finishing their distance at the prize-giving that will take place later this morning.

JMPD SE (Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department Special Events) were present to clear the way for runners.
