Lihle Shiburi's hat-trick secured much needed three points for Crusaders on the road against Florida Albion Football Club.

Lihle Shiburi delivered a match-winning performance with a superb hat-trick as Crusaders claimed an important 3-1 victory away to Florida Albion Football Club in a fiercely contested encounter.

Crusaders drew first blood early in the game when Shiburi found himself in the right place at the right time to tap home from close range after an excellent cross from the right flank. The goal settled the visitors, who continued to dictate the tempo of the match. Their midfield unit rotated the ball, maintained possession and limited Florida Alberton’s attacking opportunities.

As Crusaders continued to press forward, Shiburi struck again to double the lead and put his side firmly in control before the break. At 2-0, the visitors appeared comfortable, but the home side emerged stronger in the second half.

Florida improved significantly after the interval and began to threaten in the attacking third. Their persistence eventually paid off when the Crusaders failed to clear their lines, allowing Ansley Hoorn to pull a goal back and spark hopes of a comeback.

However, just as Florida looked capable of mounting serious pressure, Shiburi delivered the decisive blow. The striker completed his hat-trick with a well-taken goal in the second half, restoring Crusaders’ two-goal cushion and effectively ending the hosts’ comeback ambitions.

The final whistle confirmed a deserved 3-1 victory for Crusaders, who collected all three points thanks to a dominant team performance and an outstanding hat-trick from Shiburi.
