Eager to retain their title, Crusaders dominated the game and played with intensity, control, and attacking brilliance from the start.

They immediately took charge of possession and dictated the tempo. Their relentless pressure pinned the Sandton-based Emeris side deep inside their own half, forcing them into costly mistakes.
Crusaders capitalised on every opportunity, showcasing clinical finishing and sharp movement in the final third. Attack after attack overwhelmed Emeris as Crusaders found gaps in the defence with ease.

Their dominance paid off handsomely in the first half as they fired in five unanswered goals, leaving Emeris with a lot to fix before halftime.
The defending champions looked sharp, organised, and hungry to prove they remain the team to beat this season.

Despite the difficult first half, Emeris came back with renewed energy and determination.
