The TRAFIC has just gotten a lot more attractive
Most small and medium businesses employ a bakkie or double-cab for their operational needs. But perhaps it is time to consider the versatility and safety elements offered by a van.
Since its birth in 1980, Renault SA has sold 555 units of its TRAFIC panel vans. This new generation excels with technology, space, and clever storage capacity.
The cabin has been redesigned to offer improved ergonomics and improved access to technology and storage. Wider armrests and seat configurations present a luxurious office space. The easy-to-use infotainment system comes integrated with R&Go radio, and Bluetooth, together with USB and aux ports.
This long wheel base version and the trap in the bulkhead enable the TRAFIC to a load length of 4.15m offering 8.9m3 of loading space. Using the zoning mode of the key, the driver can choose to lock/unlock the cabin and/or the loading area. For easier deliveries or tool retrieval, the load area is equipped standard with 1xsliding door (left) and 2 x swing swivel rear doors that can be expanded within two mode options – 90° and 180°.
Under the hood
The TRAFIC is fitted with a 2.0L turbo diesel engine (dCi 170), mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and offers an eco mode to save fuel.
