Residents urged to be vigilant as break-ins continue

Businesses and homeowners are urged to be vigilant following another two break-ins in town.

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security in Rand West City has revealed two serious incidents of break-in and theft that took place last week.

The first incident involved a business break-in and theft in Tulbach Street, Culemborg Park at about 10:56 on July 4.

According to the security company’s operations manager Danie Vermeulen, robbers gained entry to the premises by forcing open the security as well as office doors. Two laptops and several unknown tools were stolen as a result.
