Afrivilla Pride stun Reigning Stars in Greenhills thriller

Tlotlo Magoai’s two goals proved decisive as Afrivilla Pride held off Reigning Stars to secure a 2–1 victory at Greenhills Stadium.

Afrivilla Pride FC claimed a narrow 2–1 victory over Randfontein side Reigning Stars FC in a local soccer clash at Greenhills Stadium on Saturday, August 15.

The Afri Village outfit came out on top after a competitive encounter, with Tlotlo Magoai proving to be the difference between the two sides by scoring both of Afrivilla’s goals.

Reigning Stars responded through Timothy Mussa, but were unable to find a second goal as Afrivilla held on to secure the win. Magoai’s brace ultimately handed Afrivilla the bragging rights, while Mussa’s effort gave Reigning Stars hope of rescuing a result.

The match provided another showcase of local football talent in Randfontein and surrounding communities, with Greenhills Stadium providing the setting for the two sides to battle it out.
