Soon, it will be time to give those local favourites the recognition they deserve.

You may have seen the Best of Awards elsewhere in the country. Now, we’re so excited to announce the Best of Joburg West Readers’ Choice Awards. Yip … this massively successful competition is coming to the West Rand, giving residents – that’s you! – the opportunity to vote for the businesses you believe are simply the best of the best.

Part of the long-running Best of Readers’ Choice Awards by Caxton Local Newspapers, the Best Of platform builds on more than 30 years of recognising excellence in communities across South Africa. Over the years, these popular awards have become a trusted source of recommendations, connecting customers with businesses known for their quality, service and reliability.

And now, it’s Joburg West’s turn to shine.

The Best of Joburg West Readers’ Choice Awards will be a community-driven celebration of the local businesses, services and hidden gems that residents know, love and trust. After all, who better to decide who deserves to be called the best than the people who walk through their doors, use their services and support them every day?

From your favourite places to eat, drink and be merry, to the best businesses for kids and teens, places to glam it up, enjoy a memorable dining experience, indulge in a little retail therapy, or make the most of living in the West – there will be plenty of opportunities to show your support.

So, whether you’ve heard about the iconic Best of Readers’ Choice Awards before or this is your first introduction, get ready to have your say. Soon, we’re going to be asking you to first nominate and then vote for the businesses that make our community special.
