RPA hosts successful networking function

Randfontein Publicity Association members enjoy a successful networking function.

The Randfontein Publicity Association membership base is growing in leaps and bounds.

“Our new networking format is proving to be very successful and members are telling other companies about how easy it is to promote one’s business or organisation at these functions,” says Joy Hamann, Publicity Officer.

“Basically we have upped our game and our aim is to provide our members with the best possible tools to help them boost their business. We also provide various advertising options in the form of a monthly member promo that goes out to a general database, as well as Facebook advertising.”

“Networking is probably the single most powerful tool to grow and sustain one’s business or organisation and our goal at the Publicity Association is to build a strong West Rand business community,” says Joy.

The July networking function held at Fantasy Farmyard in Wilbotsdal was very well attended. Kobi Venter, owner of Fantasy Farmyard sponsored the venue and the eats and drinks and several members sponsored prizes for the lucky draw.

“Each month we ask one of our members to host the function,” says Joy.

“This allows them to showcase their business and they are more than happy to provide members with refreshments.”

Networking is about making connections and building mutually beneficial relationships, but ultimately it’s not about who you know … but who knows you and who else those people know.
