Kholisile died in a horrific car crash when his car collided with a truck.
The West Rand District Municipality is set to host a final memorial service for the late MEC for Economic Development in Gauteng Nkosiphndule Kholisile at the Merafong Carletonville Civic Centre in Merafong at 1pm.
Kholisile died in a horrific car crash when his car collided with a truck on 20 July.
During this time, he was on his way to a funeral in Eastern Cape and driven by his bodyguards who also died in the accident.
According to District spokesperson Dennis Mangope, at the service, they will be preparing the burial of one of their own.
“Kholisile was a great man at heart and a regional convener of the public representatives in the West Rand.
“He was also a coordinator of the Parliamentary Constituency office and was well known for being humble at all times.
“As sad as it may be, we will be paying our last respect to Kholisile.
“Needless to say that he will be dearly missed by us his colleagues and friends.
“We wish that his family finds comfort in knowing that Kholisile was a great man and we will keep them in our prayers during this difficult time,” says Mangope.
