Correctional Services visits Rainbow Daycare
Krugersdorp Correctional Services spends the day at Rainbow Daycare Centre and gives the centre a much-needed facelift.
Krugersdorp Correctional Services recently visited Rainbow Daycare Centre and used this opportunity to give the centre a much-needed facelift.
According to Reintegration Case Management Supervisor, David Ndlovu they decided to bring a team of 14 people to spend the day at the Rainbow Daycare Centre.
It was during this visit that these 14 team members cooked for the children at the centre, cleaned up the place on the inside and painted the fencing walls of the facility.
“It was great fun to spend the day with these amazing children. We hope that our contribution will make a difference in their lives,” says David.
Aside from all the things Correctional Services did during their visit, they also donated warm clothes as well as cleaning equipment to the centre.
According to the project manager at Rainbow Daycare, Tatum Solomons, it was an honour to have the team from Correctional Services at the centre. She explains that they truly showed their love for children and charity work during their visit.
“All of us at Rainbow Daycare Centre are grateful for what you did for us. We cannot thank you enough,” says Tatum.
