Enter this short story competition
Aspiring writers in the community can enter their short stories now for this prestigious competition.
With a month to go, time is running out for entries to the Science Fiction/Fantasy South Africa (SFFSA) Nova Short Story Competition 2013, which has a total prize value of R3 500.
This annual competition, which has been running since 1972, promotes local talent and encourages science fiction or fantasy stories with a local, uniquely South African flavour.
The judge of the General Section this year will be Lauren Beukes, the winner of the 2011 Arthur C Clark award. As usual, the South African section will be judged by Arthur Goldstuck.
