One of Randfontein High School’s finest teachers, Rametsi Senoamadi, recently won the provincial Advance in Technology Teaching and Learning Award.
According to Rametsi, this award is given to one worthy teacher who uses technology to improve their pupils’ learning abilities.
“In order to win this prestigious award, one must present a panel of judges with your way of using technology to better equip your pupils,” says Rametsi.
He explains that RHS had to nominate one teacher to compete at district level of this competition.
“My fellow teachers at RHS decided to nominate me to take part in this competition. I had to compete against five other teachers from the D2 district,” says Rametsi.
With his great presentation and the way he implements technology to enrich his pupils, Rametsi stood out above the competition and won the D2 district competition.
By winning the D2 district competition, Rametsi advanced to provincial level where he had to compete against seven other teachers in the province.
“Once again, I gave it my all during the presentation and once again, my means of teaching was better than the rest’s,” says Rametsi.
