Police nab Nyaope suspects
As the officers entered the shack they found syringes lying around the table.

Bekkersdal Police arrested three suspects for being in possession of the Nyaope drug while conducting their normal duties.
“It is alleged the police were patrolling around Skosana Street when a woman stopped them complaining of someone who took her money,” Linkie Lefakane, spokesperson for the Bekkersdal Police said.
“They attended to this woman who took them to a house in the same street and upon arrival inside the shack, three men were found and the woman pointed out a man as one of the persons who took her money.
As the officers entered the shack they found syringes and pieces of mirrors lying around the table. They started asking questions around those items as they suspected these men to be using drugs. They searched the shack and found a substance suspected to be Nyaope.
“All three suspects were arrested and are expected to appear before the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court within 48 hours.”
