Young Kardia House striker shines for Azaadville United FC in Roshnee

A local soccer starlet delivers a standout goal-scoring display, sending his team into the tournament final.

Langalethu ‘Langa’ Radebe (6) was among the standout performers for Azaadville United Football Club’s U6 side at the Roshnee Football Club 2026 Annual Tournament on September 20.

The young striker from Kardia House International in Greenhills scored four goals in three matches as AUFC battled through six matches in a single day. Langa announced himself with two goals in AUFC’s 2–0 victory over Marlboro FC before repeating the feat in another 2–0 win against Roshnee Colts.

His goals helped AUFC reach the knockout stages after the team opened the tournament with a 3–0 defeat to Benoni FC.

AUFC then beat Roshnee Cubs on penalties in the quarter-final before overcoming Roshnee Colts on penalties in the semi-final.

The team’s run ended in the final against Marlboro FC, with the trophy again decided by penalties. Marlboro claimed victory, leaving AUFC as runners-up.

Langa finished the tournament as AUFC’s top scorer with four goals, capping a memorable day for the young footballer and his teammates.
