Alleged rapist in his late 30s wanted

A manhunt has been launched by the Randfontein Police for yet another rape suspect.

The Randfontein Police have launched a manhunt for an alleged rapist.

The victim of the rape assisted the police with enough information to compile an identikit of the suspect, said Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson.

The Randfontein Police are urging the community to assist them with any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect.

Suspect description:

• Complexion: Dark
• Age: Between 39 and 40
• Build: Medium
• Height: Approximately 1,65 metres tall
• Scars: Scar on the right side of his forehead
• Language: Tswana
• Clothes last seen in: Grey trousers, jersey and sporty headgear

The investigating officer, Sergeant Thobeka Nkosi from the West Rand Family Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Unit can be contacted with more information regarding the suspect.
