Young man, 22, to be sentenced

A 22-year-old man who was found guilty on at least 14 charges is to be sentenced in court today.

Fransisco Rodriques, 22, is to be sentenced in the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court today (16 November).

Rodrigues was found guilty on at least 14 charges on 7 March this year.

The charges include theft, malicious injury to property, theft, assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, assault, reckless/ negligent driving, malicious injury to property, driving a vehicle without a licence, assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, failure to disclose information and/ or furnishing false information during bail proceedings, failure to appear in court or to comply with a condition of bail.

The last charge against Rodriques is unknown to the Herald at this stage.
