On Wednesday, 30 November, a suspect tried to escape through the bars of a cell at the Randfontein Magistrate Court but failed and got stuck.
The photo of the actual incident and suspect was submitted to the Herald today. According to a trustworthy source, the suspect was trying to escape from the cell and got his head stuck between the bars instead.
At the time of publishing, it is unclear whether the suspect sustained any injuries in his attempt to escape.
