Greenhills Circle arrests: Two caught with alleged counterfeit goods

Two men appeared in court on Tuesday after being arrested for being in possession of allegedly counterfeit goods at the Greenhills Circle.

The Randfontein Police recently arrested two men at a business in Greenhills for being in possession of items believed to be counterfeit.

Brigadier Jacob Manamela, Randfontein Police station commander said, “There was a complaint lodged by business owners at the Greenhills Circle about people who were allegedly selling counterfeit goods.

“When the police arrived at the precinct they found two men allegedly selling the counterfeit goods and arrested them immediately.

The suspects appeared in the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 3 April and the case is still under investigation,” Manamela added.

Among the items confiscated by the police were sport shoes, handbags and jackets.
