Moddies’ Golden Lions rugby stars
Five junior rugby players from Laerskool Modderfontein Primary have been chosen to wear the Golden Lion jersey in their respective teams.
Five rugby players from Laerskool Modderfontein Primary have been chosen to represent the Golden Lions in three different teams.
Sipho Bopape, Linda Motshoeneng and Silindile Ngobese were selected for the Golden Lions B Squad, Hlumelo Mate has been selected to play for the Golden Lions A Squad during the Craven Week, while Anele Mahlayeye has been chosen for the Golden Lions 7’s squad.
“Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out. Hard work and dedication day in and day out has given these boys their own success story to tell,” said Taryn Harmse, Sports Coordinator at the school.
At Moddies we do not only focus on the achievement and success of our teams but on the development and enrichment of our learners as individuals,” she said.
“These boys showed that circumstances will never stop them from achieving what they were made for. No challenge will ever be big enough to hide away their God-given talents,” Taryn concluded.
