A man was found shot dead on the R41 between Randfontein and Kagiso earlier today.
The road had to be closed temporarily.
The Herald initially reported that the incident occurred in Uitvalfontein. Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson corrected the Herald‘s earlier misinformation pointing out that the incident occurred in the Kagiso Police jurisdiction.
The Herald is awaiting official comment from the Kagiso Police surrounding the exact circumstances.
