17th Prayer Rally for Randfontein held in the Zenzele informal settlement.
Jesus is Lord Christian Centre held its 17th Prayer Rally for Randfontein in Zenzele informal settlement near Mohlakeng on Sunday, 16 September.
Danie Henning, coordinator of the Rally, said this is the continuation of the payers aimed at bringing about change for the better among the Randfontein community through various themes.
“Today the theme focused on the unbelievers. The good news is that through the death of Christ, God reconciled the world with Himself without holding people’s sins against them,” Danie said.
He said people should know that God sent Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for them, “… so that we might become His righteousness,” Danie added.
He also said the goals of the Prayer Rallies are to honour God and praise the Lord Jesus Christ; mobilise the children of God to pray for Randfontein; unite the body of Christ and give the freedom of Randfontein to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Other rallies will be on Sunday, 21 October (AFM Sanctuary in Toekomsrus) and Sunday, 18 November (AGS Middelvlei).
