Minstens 11 insidente is gedurende die naweek van 28 tot 30 Augustus in Randwes (Randfontein/ Westonaria) by EPR Sekuriteit aangemeld.
Volgens Johan Krogh, hoofbestuurder van EPR Sekuriteit aan die Wes-Rand het die meeste insidente (6) weereens by besighede plaasgevind, gevolg deur wonings (4) en ‘n pastorie (1).
Daar is meer insidente in vergelyking met vorige weke aangemeld, en het gewissel van roof, huisbraak en diefstal, tot saakbeskadiging en aanranding. Inwoners word gemaan om te verseker dat kosbare artikels nie buite gelaat word nie, maar eerder veilig toegesluit word,” het Krogh gesê.
