Fire breaks out at Homelake train station

Firefighters are currently attending to the fire – Regional Commander of the Randfontein Fire and Rescue Services.

A fire broke out at the train station in Homelake on Wednesday afternoon, 6 January.

Bennie Mohlabeng, Regional Commander of the Randfontein Fire and Rescue Services confirmed to Herald journalist Michelle Roodt who is on scene that firefighters are currently attending to the fire.

The extent of the damage is unknown at this stage.

The Herald will update its readers as soon as information becomes available.
