Carletonville Police Station closed temporarily due to Covid-19

The Carletonville Police Station has been closed temporarily for decontamination due to a Covid-19 related incident.

All communities serviced by the Carletonville Police Station are advised that it has been closed temporarily for decontamination due to a Covid-19 related incident.

According to Warrant Officer Peter Masooa, the West Rand District Police spokesperson, the Community Service Centre will operate from Welverdiend Satellite Police Station.

The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again. The telephone lines at the Client Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure,” said Masooa.

He added that management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.
