Three incidents in Randfontein CBD in one day – Mapogo crime report

'We have noticed an increase of criminal activity in the Randfontein CBD' – Herman Coetzee, Mapogo.

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security in Randfontein released its latest crime report for the period from Thursday, 28 January to Friday, 29 January.

According to Herman Coetzee, operations manager at Mapogo, a crime report for their client base revealed there were several incidents on one day in the Randfontein CBD.

Two incidents of housebreaking and theft, as well as one incident of attempted housebreaking were reported in the Randfontein CBD on Thursday, 28 January, and one incident of malicious damage to property in Greenhills.

He stated that they have noticed an increase in criminal activity in the Randfontein CBD, and they urge clients to please ensure that their alarm systems are working.

We at Mapogo have also decided to deploy additional resources in order to curb this increase in crime,” said Herman.
