Mapogo crime report: A good end to the month, but …

Only two serious incidents were recorded for Mapogo's client base – one of arson and another of common theft.

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security in Randfontein released its latest crime report for the period Wednesday, 24 to Thursday, 25 February.

Herman Coetzee, Operations Manager at Mapogo, said only two incidents were recorded for their client base – an incident of common theft in Robin Park and a case of arson in Aureus.

He added that both these incidents took place at commercial premises.

Coetzee did, however, warn the public that the theft of copper cables was becoming a problem.

He urged the community and clients to report any suspicious activity to the police, or to Mapogo by phoning their 24-hour monitoring centre on 010 492 4321.
