EPR West Rand has released its crime report for the period from Friday, 26 February to Sunday, 28 February.
According to Johan Krogh, General Manager at EPR, theft incidents made up most of the 16 incidents.
“It was indeed a busy weekend in Rand West as far as crime and other incidents were concerned – a clear indication that crime in the area is not declining. A huge spike in theft was reported, with no less than nine incidents in the area.
Most incidents took place at business premises over the weekend. We again urge business owners to ensure that stock, equipment and machinery are properly locked up.”
