One killed, another injured in long weekend crash
One person died and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash over the long weekend.
One person was killed and another sustained moderate injuries in a collision along Annan Road in Carletonville over the weekend.
Werner Vermaak, ER24 spokesperson said ER24 paramedics found two vehicles involved in a collision at about 10pm on Saturday, 20 March.
“One of the vehicles was lying on its side, wedged against the other. Paramedics found that one person had sustained fatal injuries. Sadly, there was nothing that could be done to save him, and he was declared dead on the scene. Another person was found with moderate injuries. He was treated and later transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.”
