Puppy missing after vehicle accident: Search party says still no luck

Searchers were disappointed when they could not find Dennis the puppy this past weekend; and the puppy that was allegedly spotted in Bekkersdal on Wednesday afternoon, 19 May wasn’t Dennis either.

According to Ilze van Deelen, a friend of the family whose dog it is, the mixed-breed staffie puppy called Dennis was in the vehicle that was involved in an accident on the R93 near Cooke 3 on Wednesday, 12 May.

Although a stranger claimed to have spotted the beloved puppy in Bekkersdal, he hasn’t been found yet

“Unfortunately, after we had followed a few leads we realised it was not Dennis,” Ilze said.
