Homeless man killed as Kombi crashes into business

A homeless man was killed when a Kombi crashed into a business on Sunday, 30 May.

Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, the Randfontein Police spokesperson confirmed that a homeless man lost his life in the vehicle accident in the early hours of Sunday.

She stated the incident occurred at about 00.40am when a man driving a Volkswagen Kombi allegedly lost control of the vehicle and ended up crashing through a wall and through the glass window of a health and wellness shop.

According to Hendricks a case of culpable homicide, reckless or negligent driving as well as drunken driving was opened.
