Randfontein Police urged the public to help them identify the remains of a person which was found burnt inside a Volkswagen Polo with registration number BL 34 DW GP.
When police arrived at the Zenzele Cemetery at about 21:00 last Friday, October 29, “… they found a burning Volkswagen Polo with the body of a person in the back seat,” said Randfontein Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks.
She added, “The Randfontein Detectives are requesting those with a family member who has gone missing to contact detective Captain Gumede on 082 568 4583 to assist in identifying the body.
“Randfontein Police can also be contacted on 011 414 4992 or 071 675 7094; alternatively make use of the My SAPS app or contact the Crime Stop number on 0860010111 to report crime anonymously.”
