The Grade 1, 2 and 3 learners of Westgold Primary School were transported into outer space recently.
School spokesperson Mariska du Plessis said the learners had one of the best experiences of their lives when a Virtual Planetarium came to visit their school on Friday, November 26.
The learners were taken on their own private tour through the solar system and ocean world in 360° and 180° virtual reality,” said Mariska.
She explained that all the learners had a lot of fun and that it was a joy watching them have this experience.
“They were laughing, shouting, reaching and grabbing the stars around them.”
