Two men were shot and killed outside a shop on Van Zyl Road in the Carletonville CBD on Wednesday 30 March.
According to Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, medics arrived at the scene at around 16:12 and found the two deceased lying motionless on the pavement.
They assessed the men and found that one had sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and neck; while the other victim had wounds to his head and back. Unfortunately, both men had already succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead,” Meiring said.
Meiring added that the exact details of the incident weren’t known at that stage, but said police were at the scene for further investigations.
