MEC to receive a report on racism, sexual assault allegations at Jannas

Gauteng Department of Education confirms MEC Lesufi will meet with the school management team, school governing body and parents of Hoërskool Jan Viljoen at the school on Tuesday afternoon, May 17.

The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has confirmed that the MEC for Education will receive a report at Hoërskool Jan Viljoen at about 15:00 on Tuesday, May 17 following an investigation into pressing issues at the school.

According to a GDE media release, MEC Lesufi will meet with the school management team, school governing body and parents of Hoërskool Jan Viljoen regarding the outcome of investigations into allegations of racism and sexual assault at the school.
