Next of kin sought after man found in road dies in hospital

Police are requesting help from the community to identify an unknown male that was found on Thursday, April 7 in Motswadi Street in Mohlakeng. He died a day later.

Randfontein police detectives are requesting help from the community to identify an unknown man that was found in Motswadi Street, Mohlakeng on Thursday, April 7.

According to Randfontein Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, a resident of Mohlakeng contacted an ambulance after they found the man lying on the road with injuries to his head.

The man was taken to the hospital and he passed away the following day on Friday, April 8. The unknown man has no identification marks and looks like he can be in his late 50s”, Hendricks said.

She added that anyone who reported a family member missing can come forward to identify him, or who has any information that could assist the police in finding his family.
