Rand West City Local Municipality has received a formal notice from Eskom confirming that planned maintenance will affect the Mohlakeng substation.

Municipal spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa said the maintenance is scheduled for November 19 from 08:00 to 16:00, as Eskom works on the Westergloor/ Mohlakeng feeder line.

“Residents supplied from this substation may experience a complete interruption of electricity during this period,” Montshiwa said.
