Worshippers from far and wide gather for Youth Bash

Time2Rise Randfontein recently hosted a Youth Bash to welcome youth from all over Randfontein and Westonaria to praise and worship.

According to the organiser, Enrico van Aswegan, the event was an opportunity to have several congregations join hands in unity on neutral ground.

“The Word says we are one body. So, if we can work together as one on various projects and events it will be a blessing for our communities,” he expressed.

The evening started with praise and worship and residents from Toekomsrus, Venterspos and even as far as Krugersdorp joined the service. The Word of God was then delivered whereafter personal prayer services were given. Enrico described it as an opportunity to experience, meet the holy spirit and feel God’s love.

This event brought more residents than Time2Rise had ever had before.

“The more often we can work together, the better things will be in our communities and congregations. Although each congregation and organisation has its own mandate, vision and mission, it is essential to be able to function in unity to the praise and honour of God.”
