Randgate SPAR now a SUPERSPAR
With the revamp of Randgate SPAR the owners hope to give the people of Randfontein everything they need close to home.
On February 21, Randgate SPAR officially celebrated and launched its new look for what is now a SUPERSPAR.
Fatima Leitao, one of the owners of the revamped SUPERSPAR explained her father started the business 50 years ago in 1975. She along with her sister and her sister’s husband carried on the business after her father retired.
She explained they expanded the business to give the people of Randfontein something different. They also wanted to make it easier for the community to get their groceries near them and not have to travel to other areas.
“We are still here and we are proud of the town,” concluded Fatima.
