No More Tears drowns in debt, seeks public support

No More Tears needs the community's help to pay off their vet bills and kennel debt.

Due to No More Tears Animal Rescue’s debt, they might not be able to assist the community any longer, and they are now appealing to the community to help them.

According to director Stephen Hendricks, the organisation had a tough few months following the number of animals they assisted. He added that this gave their vet bills and boarding kennels a financial knock.

The organisation’s current debt stands at:

• A R19 000 kennel bill
• R9 000 fee at the Randfontein Animal Hospital
• R8 500 fee at Homestead Animal Veterinary
• R5 800 fee at the Rant and Dal Animal Hospital

Hendricks stated this leaves them over R40k in debt.

We hate to keep asking for donations, but we aren’t receiving enough donations to keep the organisation going,” he expressed.

He added that if anyone is interested in donating, donations can be paid directly to the boarding kennels and vets. If the payments have been made, email proof of payment to info@nomoretears.org.za so that No More Tears can confirm the allocation of the payment.
