Arts and talent galore at Rand West City Arts Council launch

About 300 guests attended the prestigious launch of the Rand West City Arts Council recently, where various talents were showcased.

The Rand West City Arts Council recently hosted a launch event that showcased a diverse range of talents in fashion, visual arts, drama, poetry and music.

The launch, held at the Westonaria Banquet Hall, began with a prestigious opera performance, followed by a transition into dancing. This was followed by performances from poets and choirs. Brothers for Life, Mighty Inspiration, and Angels of Saint Christ then presented their theatrical plays.

Various vendors showcased their products to entertain guests as well. About 300 guests attended the event.

MMC Desmond Ndzima, along with Superintendent Tshila Mashige from the Department of Public Safety, presented the purpose of the day.

Multiple artists exhibited their artwork during the art exhibition, including J’Kweendom, Khutso Modirrwa, Smanga Harmse, Tsebo Mokhethi, Justice Molotsi, and Jakes Mbele.
