In light of a recent scam making its rounds, municipal spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa confirmed the municipality does not charge fees for job applications, interviews and employment opportunities.

“Any individual or organisation requesting money in exchange for a job offer is attempting to scam you.

We urge residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or fraudulent recruitment practices about the municipality or law enforcement,” Montshiwa expressed.

For any legitimate job opportunities and updates, residents can refer to the municipality’s official communication channels.
