Raising funds to fight animal abuse for another day
To help tackle their rising petrol expenses, the RandWest SPCA recently hosted a fundraiser.
The RandWest SPCA hosted a fundraiser on June 7 to help them pay for their monthly petrol expenses and other challenges.
According to chairperson Brenda Eloff, the SPCA raised about R1 155.
She added that these funds will be used to help them with petrol expenses as well as adding to a camera set at the Westonaria branch for security purposes.

She noted the SPCA is thankful to Jacaranda FM for paying for most of the security necessities.
“We would also like to thank the community for their support. Also, remember, the SPCA needs community members, so if you would like to join, do not hesitate,” Brenda said.
