New initiative aims to uplift military veterans

The South African Defence Force Association and Kethekile NPC have launched a project to provide support for veterans in need.

Veterans from the South African Defence Force Association (SADFA) are partnering with Khethekile NPC to support other veterans in need.

Johan Swanepoel, the acting adjutant and Sergeant Major, stated they’ve built a shooting range where they intend to teach people skills, and with a part of the proceeds, they intend to help and support military veterans.

One of the directors of Khethekile NPC, Michael Deandrade, stated that their focus is on helping those in need, including the SADFA, the disabled and drug abuse victims.

Johan added that a portion of the NPC’s funds will be allocated to support the project aimed at assisting military veterans. He continued that they require food donations as well as someone to run the kitchen at the shooting range.
