SPCA needs USB sticks to bring abusers to justice

The RandWest SPCA is asking the community to donate USB sticks to help submit crucial video evidence for animal abuse court cases.

The RandWest SPCA is asking the community to donate USB sticks to help with animal abuse cases.

SPCA manager René van Straten explained they need the sticks to submit video evidence in court, as this is the only accepted format for graphical proof in these cases.

“If you have any spare USB sticks, even just one lying around unused, please consider donating it to our cause. Each donated USB stick means one more case of animal cruelty can be brought to justice. These devices are costly, and your donation, no matter how small, makes a real impact,” said René.

Donations can be dropped off at the SPCA’s Randfontein office. Enquiries can be sent to [email protected] for more information.

“From all of us and the animals you’re helping to protect, thank you so much for your support,” she concluded.
